IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SPRING 2021 SEASON

GBHC Covid Guidelines - Spring 2021 Season

Hello all! The Spring 2021 season officially kicks off tomorrow! I and the Board couldn’t be happier that we are getting back to some normality! Things aren’t quite normal in the world yet, so here are the protocols GBHC has implemented and must be followed! Failure to follow the guidelines set forth by the GBHC Board may jeopardize this season and future seasons. The rules aren’t complicated, and most of them we have been doing on a daily basis for the past year anyway. Please read through the list and familiarize yourself with what will be expected this season. A link to this weeks COVID form is at the bottom of this message.

  1. A weekly COVID questionnaire will be sent out on Friday mornings. This form needs to be completed by 9 am on SATURDAY mornings. If your child does not play until Sunday, the form still needs to be back by SATURDAY!! NO EXCEPTIONS!  If you are not on the list, you WILL BE TURNED AWAY!

  2. A form needs to be filled out for EVERY PLAYER, COACH, PARENT, VOLUNTEER, and SPECTATOR. So, if you have 3 kids that play and 2 parents coming to watch...we need 5 forms! If you are not on the list, you WILL BE TURNED AWAY! (yes, I know I said that twice...it’s that important!)

  3. Spectators are limited to TWO (2) parents only! If your spouse is a coach, they still count as 1 person! We ask that grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins stay home. If a grandparent, aunt, or uncle serves as a second parental unit in your household, then they will be permitted, but the limit is two adults per child.

  4. Masks will be worn by every coach, volunteer, and spectator! Gaiters, masks with valves, and bandanas will NOT be permitted. A cloth or surgical type mask is recommended. Players wearing masks while playing is at the parent’s discretion.

  5. Please take note of game times as they are different this year. We have built time in between each game for disinfecting. This also allows two teams to clear out before two new ones need to take the rink.

  6. There is NO CHANGING in the player area, Please dress at your car before coming to the rink to warm up. After the game, please go back to the car to get your gear off.

  7. Players will be socially distanced on the bench to the best of our ability.

  8. The snack shack will not be open at this time. Please make sure your child has plenty of water for their game. We will have some water available. See a board member at the rink if needed.

  9. There will be a new work bond opportunity available this season in lieu of the snack shack being closed. We will need volunteers to help take temperatures and make sure we have forms for everyone in attendance. Look for that to be up on the website in the next week or two.

All of our guidelines are subject to change to stay in line with CDC and State guidelines.

Website Account Management
by posted 09/25/2015

The new website is our new central hub for all communications from Green Brook Hockey Club.  We would ask that everyone takes a few minutes to log into their account (see this article for information on logging in the first time,) and make sure all the information is correct and up to date.  You can use the following guide to update your account and add an additional parent to your family account.

Once you login into your account you will need to click on the Edit My Account button to update your account information or add a second parent account to your family.

This will take you to the Family Membership page

This page lets you add a new adult to your Family account, edit information on your or your child(s) account, and get to your Family Schedule.

First, editing your account.  Click on your name under the Member list and you will come to your information page.

Here you can edit all your contact information, change your password, and even setup your cell phone provider so you can receive text messages from the system.  You can also set your account to get reminders for you child's games and/or practices.

After submitting your changes you will be returned to the Family Members page.  Now you can add a second adult to your Family account if you don't already have one.

Start by clicking on the Add Adult button.  This time you will be taken to a partially filled in Edit screen and you can fill in the contact information for the second adult.

The last thing you can do from the Family Member page is to get to the Family Schedule.  This will show the games and practices for all children in the Family on one calendar.

From the schedule page you can click on the Options drop-down list on the right side.  From this menu you can get links to the Calendar Feed (to be subscribed to in your mail or calendaring programs for your computer or phone,) get a direct link to the schedule page, get a downloaded CSV file to be imported into other programs like Outlook, or print it out.

If you click on the Calendar Feed you will have several options

Once subscribed through your own calendar you will receive updates automatically if there are rescheduled games.

Please let me know if you have any questions about the new website or send feedback through the feedback link on the side menu.

See you at the rink!
